Overview
LTE Group was created in 2016, and is the first integrated education and skills group of its kind, and the largest social enterprise in the country dedicated to learning, training and employment. We are looking to recruit an Exams Data Administrator Apprentice to work at our Openshaw Campus in Manchester.
About the apprenticeship
- A key role in the Exams & Achievement Team in the delivery of an outstanding customer experience with responsibility to ensure that data held on LTE group systems in relation to students, and courses is processed with the Awarding Organisations in a timely and accurate manner using the latest available technical advanced systems and processes
- To work as part of a team with other Exam Administrators and Exam Administrator Team Leader to consistently deliver the Team's operational objectives through SLA's and KPIs
- Ensure that the highest data quality standards are achieved by working on data validation to an agreed schedule ensuring the use of up to date reporting and mechanisms
- During the year, at peak periods for the Department (e.g. Achievement and Certification periods), it will be necessary to work flexibly with additional hours to maintain the service; it will be necessary to adhere to an annual leave block
- The post-holder will work to provide services across the Group to the various Business Units and Support Services
- This is a role within the Group Services structure
Key Accountabilities:
To be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of data for all aspects of the Examination and Achievement cycle to agreed standards. e.g. Registrations, Access Arrangements, Entries, Claims, Results and Certificates
- To develop excellent relationships with customers to provide timely, comprehensive and accurate service responses, to resolve queries on all aspects of the Exams and Achievement Transaction Cycle and functions
- To assist Exam Business Relationship Officers and Team Leader in achieving pre-agreed performance targets and service level agreements for the service
- To engage in the review and implementation of new transactional processes to improve service users' experience
- To work collaboratively with the Data Services Team to support internal and external data audits as per the department schedule
- Maintain an up to date and working knowledge of the technical requirements required within the Exams and Achievement Team, e.g. the use of Awarding Organisation Portals, EBS and JCQ Requirements
- To work collaboratively with service users to gather feedback to develop an understanding of their needs
- To assist in the filing and retrieval of learner Exam records and information, adhering to statutory external and internal Data Protection policies and processes
- To support the wider team with data processing and other duties from time to time as required

Career progression
- This is a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship - 18 months. A permanent role may be considered on successful completion
