Overview
DJS Research, Strines, Marple, are looking for someone to support their finance team, initially payroll bias but then covering other areas of finance. You will work towards a Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard.
About the apprenticeship
DJS Research are looking for someone to carry out much of the following core tasks:
- Payroll related task initially, then moving to other areas of finance
- Entering information onto computer systems and pulling out data
- Use of specialist finance and payroll software
- Using Microsoft Office
- Filing and scanning documents
- Answering the telephone
- Administrative duties
- Working to deadlines
- General office duties as directed
The role will emerge into a rounded finance role, so there will be a need for the successful candidate to roll up their sleeves and assist team members as and when required. The successful candidate must have an interest in payroll.

The position will be based remotely for the time being but will be based in the Strines office in the future, reachable by bus and train.

Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 3 AAT
