About the apprenticeship
- Keeping the salon clean at all times
- To assist Senior Stylists with a diverse range of client hair types
- To perform basic treatments, like shampooing and conditioning
- To greet clients, provide refreshments and help to maintain the salon appearance
- To take appointments over the telephone
- To Stay up-to-date on hairdressing trends and continuously strive to improve and grow within the salon
Apprenticeship qualification and training
- Hair Professional Apprenticeship Level 2 standard
- The majority of training will be practical and will take place in the salon
- 20% of training will be off-the-job and will include the following: The teaching of theory, for example: lectures, online learning or manufacturer training. Practical training: shadowing, mentoring, industry visits. Learning support and time spent writing assessments/assignments
