About the apprenticeship
Duties may include and may not be limited to:
- Ordering and issuing stock in the pharmacy
- Receiving, storing, maintaining stock in the pharmacy
- Preparation, and assembly of medicinal products
- Selling over the counter medicines in the pharmacy
- Processing a prescription
- Assembling prescriptions safely
- Deal with telephone and face to face enquiries
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Level 2 Pharmacy Assistant Standard
Training will take place on the job and online. The successful candidate will shadow experienced colleagues and will receive mentoring from a Total People Learning Coach.
