Would you like to work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification? This apprenticeship will involve supporting the teaching staff and will be both practical and challenging. Peak Education are based in Gailey and are looking to provide somebody with the perfect opportunity to take the first step on the ladder of a teaching career. Duties to include; Adhering to all child protection and safeguarding, health and safety and equal opportunities policies and any other school policies. Build relationships with students, supervise students in the classroom under the direction of the Teacher. Have a commitment to working as part of a team to support the development and potential of our students.
About the apprenticeship
This role will be fun and exciting and will develop so many important skills for your future. We are looking for people to support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), many of whom have behaviours that may be challenging.
Duties to include ;
- To complete all training as required and are committed to completing their Apprenticeship.
- That you adhere to all child protection and safeguarding, health and safety and equal opportunities policies and any other school policies.
- Build relationships with students, supervise students in the classroom under the direction of the Teacher.
- Have a commitment to working as part of a team to support the development and potential of our students.
- Can motivate and inspire students to learn.
- Flexibility in the workplace to ensure all requests are completed on time.
- Participate in all outdoor and indoor activities at all times with the students.
Apprenticeship qualification and training
- Teaching Assistant Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in English and mathematics Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Mandatory in-house training
- Support in preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA)

Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship, you maybe be considered for a permanent position, if this was available.
