Total People graduates take the stage at the 2019 ceremony.

Graduates marked the culmination of their hard work and achievement on Tuesday at the 2019 UCEN Manchester and Total People Graduation.

Total People learners joined almost 400 graduates who took to the stage at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester City Centre and received their honours in front of tutors, dignitaries and special guests during the afternoon Ceremony of Awards.

Wearing the traditional cap and gown decorated with the colours of their validating partners, they were welcomed into the auditorium by the rousing sounds of the Rock Choir before the Bridgewater Hall organist announced the arrival of the academic stage party.

Alumni speaker Thomas Vernal, a former student of The Arden School of Theatre who is currently starring in the hit musical comedy ‘Book of Mormon’, inspired the audience with a passionate speech to graduates about changing their narrative and achieving their full potential.

Wendy Blackburn, Operations Manager at Total People, read out the names of Total People graduates before they were presented to Lisa O’Loughlin, Principal of The Manchester College.

Linda Dean, Managing Director of Total People, said: “Graduation is a wonderful moment for all of our learners and a special day on which to celebrate their academic and professional achievements.

I am so proud of each and every one of our 2019 Total People graduates and wish them all the success for the future.
