Management apprentices can now benefit from the latest industry developments and practical support after Total People became a strategic partner of The Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

The partnership means Total People learners on the Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship, and Level 5 Operations Departmental Management Apprenticeship will gain membership to CMI.

This includes access to networking events for senior business leaders, insight into the latest management thinking, and study support from its online learning portal Management Direct.

The CMI is the only chartered professional body for management and leadership dedicated to improving managers’ skills and growing the number of qualified managers. Its unique Chartered Manager accreditation can help to increase earning potential and improve workplace performance.

The partnership was established thanks to cross LTE Group working between Total People and professional learning provider MOL, who have their own strategic partnership with CMI.

This joint working has resulted in Total People reproducing the MOL delivery model, ensuring its learners benefit from the same high quality support, which includes eight workshops.

Linda Dean, Managing Director of Total People and Executive Lead at MOL, said: “As leaders in learning, we are thrilled to announce our new strategic partnership with The Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

“Total People work with over 2000 employers and over 6000 learners each year. This new partnership will help to create the best learning environment for our Level 3 and Level 5 Management apprentices, and enable them to access the latest industry advice and expertise.”

Steve Heappey, Director of Employer and Provider Partnerships at CMI, said: “We welcome the new strategic partnership with Total People, part of the LTE Group, to give managers the opportunity to gain the professional skills that will benefit their employers, as well as their own career development.

There is no doubt that developing world-class management and leadership is essential to a company’s growth. I urge employers to make sure that they support their managers in gaining Chartered status.
