Total People and MOL are helping rising stars at Eddie Stobart to achieve their dreams.

Leading apprenticeship provider Total People and professional development company MOL have partnered with transport and logistics giant Eddie Stobart Ltd to deliver the company’s first Management Development Programme for warehouse and logistic employees.

The Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship is a great opportunity for future leaders and rising stars in the business wanting to take the next step in their career.

Aspiring leaders from across the sector have enrolled on the programme and will work towards their Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualification and Level 3 apprenticeship. Both Total People and MOL are strategic partners with CMI, which means management apprentices can benefit from the latest industry developments and practical support.

Paul Harding, Director-Contract Logistics and Warehousing, said:

This programme has been tailored for individuals and is an exciting step in the growth of our people. It will provide the right knowledge and tools for their career development to ensure we have the skills and leaders we need for the future.

The company already runs a Driver Management Development Programme and graduate scheme. The new programme will not only enable talented staff to develop their career but also help to ensure the future success of Eddie Stobart and the logistics industry as a whole.

Jane Evison, Key Account Manager at Total People, said: “Eddie Stobart’s Management Development Programme is a great example of a really effective partnership between Total People and MOL, to provide a bespoke apprenticeship. Many colleagues were involved in planning and preparing for the recent launch event for Cohort One.

“It has been fascinating getting to know about such an iconic brand in order to embed their values and meet the needs of the business.”

Leanne Shackleton, Corporate Partnerships Manager for MOL, said: “I was thrilled to work with Total People on this project for Eddie Stobart, as Total People are a CMI (Chartered Management Institute) strategic partner.

“Using our nationally recognised MOL brand means that not only will Eddie Stobart apprentices complete their apprenticeship, but their apprenticeship will also be underpinned by a professionally accredited qualification.”
