Business Administrator Apprenticeship
If you’re looking to build a versatile career in business, this apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge to thrive in any sector. As a Business Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting teams, streamlining processes, and engaging with both internal and external customers.
Throughout this programme, you'll develop essential skills in IT, project management, and business operations. You'll also gain valuable knowledge of organisational structures, external market factors, and industry best practices. Alongside this, you’ll build key professional behaviours, including adaptability, responsibility, and a strong customer-focused mindset, helping you make a real impact in any workplace.


Topics, units and assessments
As part of the apprenticeship, you will learn about:
- Use of Information Technology
- Record and document production
- Communications
- Planning and organisation
- Project management
- Relevant regulations
- Policies
- Business Fundamentals
As part of the End Point Assessment (EPA), you will be expected to complete:
- Gateway- Portfolio of evidence
- Exam- Knowledge test (comprising of 50 multiple choice questions)
- Portfolio-based Interview
- Presentation around Project/Improvement.
How you’ll learn
This programme will be delivered within the employer’s workplace, on a 1-2-1 basis with the appointed Learning Coach from Total People Ltd.
Once complete, apprentices can progress onto other qualifications such as Foundation Degrees in areas such as Business, Business Management and Business Administration.

A Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects from start to finish. They manage timelines, budgets, resources, and teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Develop Skilled Administrative Professionals
Apprentices gain essential skills in areas such as office management, data entry, scheduling, customer service, and communication. They contribute to smooth day-to-day operations, ensuring the office runs efficiently and supporting team productivity.
