Team Leader Apprenticeship
This apprenticeship equips both new and existing team leaders with industry-standard skills to lead effectively. You’ll develop key management competencies, including team support, work prioritisation, performance improvement, problem-solving, and relationship building.
As a Strategic Partner of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), learners gain access to exclusive CMI resources and can register as Associate members upon completion.

How you’ll learn
Apprentices must complete the minimum requirement of 6 hours of off the job training per week or the equivalent over the practical learning duration (20% of capped 30 working hours).
Off the job training must deliver new skills and knowledge that are directly relevant to the apprenticeship standard and can include:
- Teaching of theory via blended delivery methods
- Practical training
- Work shadowing
- Supported learning and time spent writing any assignments / questions

Supervisor
A Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring team members meet performance standards and business objectives. They provide guidance, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and support staff development within an organisation.

Project Officer
A Project Officer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they run smoothly and meet deadlines. They assist with budgeting, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and risk management.

Dept. Manager
A Departmental Manager is responsible for leading a specific department, ensuring it meets business objectives and operates efficiently. They oversee staff performance, manage budgets, set goals, and drive improvement.

Shift Manager
A Shift Manager takes full responsibility for a team and operational performance during a specific shift. They manage schedules, assign tasks, resolve issues, oversee staff productivity, and ensure customer satisfaction whilst on shift.
