Solving skills gaps in Project Management through funded apprenticeships

This programme gets you ready to handle projects, lead workstreams or manage project activities in all sorts of organisations.

You’ll pick up the knowledge, skills and behaviours you need to run a project from start to finish. This includes planning, scheduling, delivering, evaluating and always looking for ways to improve. You’ll also learn how to handle risk, budgets, resources and stakeholders, while staying flexible when things change or challenges pop up.

Once complete, you’ll be ready to help deliver successful projects and make a real difference to your organisation’s performance.

Who's this apprenticeship for and what will you gain?

If you’re already involved in projects or you’re in charge of delivering tasks, leading people, or managing change, this apprenticeship is for you.

To join, you’ll go through a vocational skills assessment with support from Total People to make sure it’s the right fit for you.

On completetion of this apprenticeship you will gain:

  • Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English and math (if needed)
  • Access to Chartered Management Institute (CMI) member benefits.

How you’ll learn

You’ll join us for remote knowledge webinar sessions. It’s important that you complete at least 348 hours of off-the-job training, as required for the apprenticeship.

  • You’ll also get hands-on with practical training, putting what you learn into action
  • Work shadowing
  • Self-directed study , using online resources and assessments to guide your progress
  • Employer-led development is included, which means mentoring for your internal project work
  • Work on internal projects independently, with everything tracked and linked to OneFile.
