Total People help to transform apprentices into the next generation of Early Years leaders.
The Village Nursery Group is passionate about providing their staff, as well as children at their nurseres, with the best learning opportunities possible. The private day nurseries support children across the North West but are also investing in their workforce through apprenticeships with Total People.
The team employs Nursery Apprentices (Nursery Assistants) who each work towards Early Years Educator Level 2 and 3, gaining a deep understanding of child development and how to support this in practice.
Rebecca Moore, Operations Manager, said: “We believe that apprentices are vital that we play our part in supporting the next generation of Early years Leaders. If apprentices are given the right environment to learn and grow they will indeed be the future leaders of our Early Years settings. Whilst knowledge is exceptionally important so is the hands-on experience that we can provide to these young learners.”
Rebecca explained how the benefits of apprenticeships included the fact that they can train their staff to the highest standards. She said: “They are learning by example through modeling and mentoring and are offered outstanding practice to support a learner’s growth and development.”
Total People have a long-running relationship with The Village Nursery Group, helping with the advertising and interviewing of potential candidates, as well as with the apprenticeship learning.
She said: “We’ve used Total People for as long as I can remember. After using previous providers I found them to be the most thorough and delivering quality training and support. I’ve always found our Assessor to be very responsive with any questions.
I would recommend Total People as they provide high-quality support and guidance for our apprentices with quick and effective communication.
