About the apprenticeship
The typical duties they would be expected to carry out are roughly the following:
- Raw meat prep and cooking
- Salad prep
- Sandwich prep and cooking
- Breakfast prep and cooking
- Cakes prep and baking
- Washing up and cleaning the kitchen
The expected working hours would be from 7:30am until 3pm Monday to Friday.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn but at the same time not to be afraid to suggest and experiment with new ideas. At Ancoats Kitchen & Deli we are always introducing new products and expanding our range, so they need to be open and accepting of change as the business grows. It goes without saying that they should be punctual, reliable and fast!
There may be occasional weekend working, either due to staff shortages, holidays or special catering functions.
