Accounting qualifications are offered by the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), who are the UK’s leading professional body offering skills-based accountancy and finance qualifications.
Accountancy Apprenticeships are made up of 3 core elements: NVQ in Accounting , Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) and Functional Skills.
What you’ll be doing
Dealing with sales invoices, income, receipts and payments. On a daily basis you will undertake various duties depending on your role and company including:
- Arranging purchase orders
- Preparing statements showing income and payments
- Completing VAT returns
- Preparing wages and managing claims for expenses
- Helping to prepare annual accounts
- Using computerised accounting systems and maintaining accurate records
- providing administrative support to Accountants.
