STC are looking for an apprentice to join our Hyde Depot. With an interest in the HGV industry, you will have a fantastic opportunity to develop a career as a HGV Technician. You will carry out general servicing & inspections, complete job sheets as required and adhere to all company health and safety standards.
About the apprenticeship
You will learn to do the following in detail over the course of your apprenticeship:
- Carry out general servicing & inspections
- Complete job sheets as required
- Complete preventative maintenance
- MOT preparation
- Adhere to all company health and safety standards
Apprenticeship qualification and training
Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Standard level 3. End Point Assessment Assessments will be in three parts: EPA
1: Multiple Choice Exams: One hour exam on the engineering requirements of the standard and one hour exam on the wider requirements of the standard EPA
2: Practical Task Observations: Five observed tasks an apprentice must complete during independent end assessment EPA
3: Profession Discussion and review of behaviours
On and off the job training and location to be confirmed.
Functional skills if required.
Career progression
We are looking for an heavy vehicle service and maintenance technician apprentice at our Hyde Depot who will stay with us upon completion of their apprenticeship and work hard.
