Apprentice Service Admin Assistant

Overview

Stockport Truck Centre (STC) based in Bredbury, Stockport is committed to continued investment so that we can better serve our customers and remain at the forefront of the transport industry. STC are looking for an Apprentice to join our Service Administration Team in updating all jobs on our system and assist with the invoicing of the jobs.

About the apprenticeship

• Updating jobs on the system in an accurate and timely fashion
• Ensure job cards are completed and signed correctly
• Send and chase for final Purchase Orders
• Liaise with customers regarding any queries on pro-forma invoices
• Update internal documents on a daily basis to keep management informed of the WIP progress
• Ensure parts used are booked out accurately to the jobs
• Enter information onto external customer portals/applications to assist with the costing process
• Assist with the costing of the jobs
• Answering the telephone and dealing with queries
• Promote Health and Safety within the depot
• Act in a professional manner at all times
• Undertake any reasonable duty specified by the Management

Apprenticeship qualification and training

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard

End Point Assessment:

• Gateway - Portfolio of evidence
• Exam - Knowledge Test (comprising of 50 multiple choice questions)
• Portfolio - based interview
• Presentation around Project/Improvement
• Full training will be given on the job. Knowledge of Excel, Outlook will be beneficial along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• You will ensure you complete your online portfolio and update accordingly

Career progression

• We are looking for an admin apprentice for our Head Office at Bredbury who will stay with us upon completion of their apprenticeship and work hard
