About the apprenticeship
We require a Salon Apprentice to join us in our friendly salon. You will gain first-hand experience in a busy salon with full training provided in order to gain a Hairdressing Level 2 Apprenticeship.
As an Apprentice Hairdresser you will be trained various aspects of hairdressing, working as part of a team, customer service, reception, retail, washing hair and learning the skills to be our future professional in hairdressing.
Daily duties will include:
- Shampooing/Conditioning hair
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Greeting clients
- Making refreshments
- Answering the telephone
- Making and booking appointments
- Preparing clients for further services/treatments
In time you could work towards:
- Blow drying
- Colouring hair
- Cutting hair
