About the apprenticeship
Appleton’s Hairdressing based in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire are looking to take on an Apprentice Hairdresser to join the team.
We require a salon apprentice to join us in our friendly salon. You will gain direct experience in a busy salon with training provided by Appleton’s Hairdressing as well as Total People leading to an accredited qualification in Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing) Standard.
As an Apprentice Hairdresser, you will be trained in various aspects of Hairdressing including styling, colouring and cutting.
Working as part of a team, customer service, reception, retail, shampooing/conditioning hair and learning the skills to be our future professional in Hairdressing.
Daily duties will include:
- Shampooing/Conditioning hair
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Greeting clients
- Making refreshments
- Answering the telephone
- Making and booking appointments
- Preparing clients for further services/treatments
- Laundry
In time you will also work towards:
- Blow drying
- Colouring hair
- Cutting hair
Some reception duties may also be included.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, committed and dedicated to beginning their career in the Hairdressing industry.
The role will involve long periods of standing, therefore a good level of physical fitness and stamina is required.
