About the apprenticeship
Duties will include:
- Ordering school materials and equipment on behalf of all departments in line with the agreed deadlines of same day process for an urgent order and 3 days for a non-urgent order
- Monthly reconciliation of main Academy business charge card account, ensuring appropriate transfers and journals are recorded
- Reconciliation and processing of the photocopying, printer credits and hospitality journals on a weekly basis
- Maintenance and update of the Schools Asset Register
- Reconciliation of the School Trust Bank Account including recording of new standing order payments, bank reconciliations, audit preparation and the preparation of the gift aid return
- Manage travel/bursary payments
- Entering manual payments onto the cashless system from students and staff including the management of student overdrafts
- Responding to communications relating to the Online Payment System (ParentPay) transactions from students, staff and parents for Cashless Catering
- Maintain whole school locker key database, distributing leys and replacements to students when required
- Banking and coding of all Main School Academy income on the Financial Management System
