Overview

The role is to work as part of our small and friendly claims and repair management team. Our clients are chiefly corporate fleet operators and insurers. It’s a varied role and you will develop skills that are highly valued in the insurance sector.

About the apprenticeship

Daily tasks to include:

  • At Repair Link we handle the motor element of vehicle accidents. This means that you will be taking calls from drivers to complete accident forms over the phone, then allocating the damaged vehicle to a repair centre.
  • At Repair Link we monitor the repair of vehicles, undertake engineer inspections, arrange replacement vehicles, roadside recovery and, when vehicles are beyond economical repair, dispose of the salvage.  As part of your job you will help to support these processes.
  • You will support the handling of invoices from all the various suppliers.
  • Customer service via telephone will be a big part of the role. 
  • You will use Microsoft products, Outlook, Word and Excel as part of your daily tasks.

As part of your apprenticeship you will be trained and gradually introduced to these tasks.  You will be supported into the role in preparation for a full time position upon completion of your qualification.

Apprenticeship qualification and training

Business and Administrator Apprenticeship, Level 3 Standard

Training will be on the job.

There will also be off the job training which will include the completion of online assignments, supported via live, interactive webinars and  mentoring by a Total People Learning Coach.

There will be an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of the programme.

You will become part of the expanding team at Repair Link.
