If you love children and want to pursue a career working with them, then you can achieve your level 2 apprenticeship in Early Years. You must be cheerful, hardworking and responsible. The role will mainly consist of the following:
- Help ensure the safety and security of children in the setting
- Promoting the children's learning and enjoyment through planned experiences
- Supporting children's care routines, such as meal and sleep times
- Helping to prepare, carry out and clear away a wide range of childcare activities and resources
- Assist with any outdoor activities
- Support with language skills
- Supervise and support children's play
- Making sure children feel safe and secure at all times
- Adhering to settings policies and procedures at all times
